1. Hold down the Windows Key and press the Pause/Break button at the top right of your keyboard (another way is right-clicking your computer and clicking Properties).
2. Click on the Advanced tab.
3. Under Performance, click Settings.
4. Then click the Advanced tab on the button that pops up.
5. Under Virtual Memory at the bottom, click Change.
6. Click the Custom Size button.
7. For the initial size (depending on your HD space), type in anywhere from 1000-1500 (although i use 4000), and for the Maximum size type in anywhere from 2000-2500 (although i use 6000).
8. Click Set, and then exit out of all of the windows.
9. Finally, restart your computer.
10. You now have a faster computer and 1-2gb of virtual RAM!

1Ti apasat pe tasta windows si apesi pause/break(sus in dreapta) sau in mycomputer properties
2.Apesi Advance TAB
3.Langa categoria Performance apesi Settings
4Sub advance tab apesi pe butonul care apare
5Sub virtual Memory apesi CHange
76Apesi pe Custom Size buton
8Pentru marimea initiala(Depinde de spatiul pe disk) scrie cat vrei intre 1000 - 1500 (am scris 4000 totusi), si pentru maxim scirie intre 2000 - 2500(am folosit 6000 totusi)
9Apasa set so si inchide totate fresetrele/aplicatile
10Da restart la pc
Acum ai un computer rapid cu 1-2 giga Virtual RAM

Pentru performante optime este recomandat ca Virtual Memory sa fie facuta pe un alt hard, daca aveti, si nu pe cel pe care este instalat windowsul. Daca este si pe alt cablu IDE - si mai bine. Asadar, nu pe alta partitie de pe acelasi hard unde este instalat windowsul, dar in lipsa de alt hdd este mai bine pe aceasta.

si nu se arde frate pc-ul??

ce motive ar avea sa se arda ? iti da pur si simpllu mai multa memorie virtuala ... normal ar fi sa lucre mai "smooth"

Daca nu se poate ceea ce a spus rimagheo, incercati cel putin sa faceti o partitie spre sfarsitul discului. Datele de la sfarsitul discului sunt citite mai repede dacat cele de la inceputul acestuia.
De asemenea incercati sa faceti partitia pentru memorie virtuala FAT pentru ca e mai rapida decat FAT32 sau NTFS si avantajele care vi le ofera ultimele tipuri de partitii nu va incanta in cazul memoriei virtuale
