Am inst ubuntu 6.10 si am incercat sa compilez valknut si dclib - nici unu nu imi mere , da eroare la compilator ... de unde pot face rost de gcc sau dc am nevoie ?

am incercat comanda sudo apt-get install valknut si mia aparut "cannot find package " am valknut-0.3.8.1 luat dupa sourceforge.net ... am incercat sa compilez alt dc - si anume ldcc-2.0.7 am dat ./configure si mi-a aparut :

That's weird. Nu iti apare nici un fisier log acolo ? Prima data ti-a spus "See `config.log' for more details.". Daca apare posteaza-l.
g++ ai putea sa il scoti de aici:
Inainte sa schimbi gcc care nu cred ca are probleme ai putea sa verifici daca ai instalate pachetele libc, libstdc++, binutils si libtool.

#ca sa iti updatezi lista de surse:
sudo apt-get update
eventual ... :
sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list
si vezi poate ti-s anulate cateva repositories (au "#" in fata alea anulate) vezi sa nu fie anulate universe
dupa aia dai iara
sudo apt-get update
si sudo apt-get install valknut
sau sudo aptitude install valknut
pentru gcc faci la fel
sudo apt-get install gcc
uite am facut ca mai sus si ... mi-a mers 
uite lista mea de surse /etc/apt/sources.list dupa update-uri

ai facut cum am zis io mai sus ?
trebuie sa mearga ... asa imi dadea si mie pana am updatat sursele
deci:
sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list
acolo scoti # de la alea cu universe si backports
dupa aia sudo apt-get update
dupa aia sudo apt-get install valknut
eventual poti sa bagi in lista ta de surse ce ii in a mea ... ai ar trebui sa mearga

DarkTempo : unde ar trb sa fie pus Valknut_ul? de ex la mn e pus pe desktop pe alt cont (root1) - trb sa intru in folderul anumit si sa dau comanda asta : sudo apt-get install valknut si ar trb sa mearga ? mi-e imi apare cannot find package  .....

pai ai facut chestiile cu sursele care le-am zis eu ? in /etc/apt/sources.list ... acolo sunt practic "linkurile" unde gaseste el valknut

gata am reusit ...era de la source.list - am facut update ala si merge- mi la instalat automat .... ms mult darktempo si celorlalti care au incercat
