Hi, i have DCU 11 DPY 901 382 ,and SE k300i
i installed cable drivers on my pc with no prblem, but the pc is showing NO phone connected, i think its bcoz the phone is not responding. when i plug cable into my phone nothing happens like auto detection. in the accesories menu my phone is showing no accessory is connected.
PLZ PLZ HELP ME

Hi,
After having too much trouble with the DCU-11 cable here is how I installed it finally:
Download the driver from the SE website: http://www.sonyericsson.com/spg.jsp?cc= ... p;esi=true
Install it (Insert the cable and when it askes for drivers give the path). I have a dell PIV laptop and had no problems. It asked for one more file that was installed from the provided cd (drivers folder).
Go to the Device Manager and check the com port: Device Manager>Ports (COM & LPT)>USB Data Cable (COM 4) . Mine was 4. If it is 5 manually change it to 4 (or any free port) by using advanced tab in port settings.
See the device instance id in the details tab and make the following corrections in the downloaded SUSCOM.INF file according to your phone. Mine are:

ExcludeFromSelect = USBVID_6547&PID_0232

[Pro]
%DeviceDesc% = ComPort, USBVID_6547&PID_0232
Uninstall the driver in device manager and then install it again using the modified SUSCOM.INF file.
MOST IMPORTANT: In Device Manager>Port Settings you must specify Bits per seconds: 9600 otherwise the connection won't be made.

At this point (perhaps before) I installed Filemanager from SE website (around 33MB download) it never worked.

Download and install floAt's Mobile Agent from http://fma.sourceforge.net/index2.htm
Install it and click connect. Hopefully it should connect.
